Scherzheim, Germany is located in the Upper Rhine River Plain in the state of Baden-Württemberg just south of the village of Lichtenau. West of the village is the Rhine and with it the French Border. To the South is the Black Forest. Today Scherzheim has about 1000 inhabitants.
