Passenger list of the Francis B. Cutting, Antwerp to New York, Arrived March 1, 1855.
On the voyage to America, the Febrey family traveled on the ship the Francis B. Cutting from Antwerp to New York. They left port in Antwerp on January 10, 1855 and arrived in New York on March 1, 1855.  Nine of the deported families of Scherzheim traveled on this ship.

Passenger records state that they brought "3 Chests of Wearing Apparel" and occupied 3 beds on the journey.  Philipp, the head of the Febrey family, never got the chance to set foot on American soil.  He died on the voyage and was buried at sea.
